Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Tomorrow is the Primary and I’m asking for your support as the Republican endorsed candidate for State Senate.
It has been a unique campaign with many twists and turns, most beyond my control. But in the end, it comes down to whether or not you think I will represent your values and whether or not you think I will do a better job than the incumbent presently serving us.
My focus will be on reining in wasteful government spending. We should not spend more than the resources we have or we will create bigger problems down the road. I won’t support tax increases which means I support making government more efficient.
Job growth must be a priority for all of us. Government doesn’t grow jobs, but they can create a place where businesses want to come and do business…or they can drive them out of the state. We must become a business-friendly state.
The Legislature will likely decide next year whether marriage should remain between one man and one woman, or gay marriage. The DFL governor candidates all say they will pass gay marriage. I oppose this social experiment.
The choices are clear. I’m asking for your support tomorrow in the Primary.
