To the Editor:
As a former state legislator, part of my mission in office was to
control excessive state government spending. Since announcing my
intention to challenge Paul Koering for the Republican endorsement for
state senate, I have seen at least three letters unfairly quoting the
Taxpayer's League to distort my record and imply my opponent had a
better record controlling spending.
